Every year in November, Bible Holiness Assembly of God in conjunction with Ozark Bible Institute and College sponsors its annual Missions Convention. During this time we focus on the challenge of both home and world missions. It has often been said, that as Christians we have only two options concerning missions; we must either “go or send.” But I have noticed that many so called Christians have found a third option - “default.” Have you ever considered how many people are in hell by default? Not because they rejected the gospel, but because no one ever came to where they were and shared the gospel. “In hell by default!” How sad! But it will be more sad if no one responds to the Master’s call.
...“as my father hath sent me, even so send I you.” John 20:21
We are praying that at this year’s Missions Convention there will be many that answer the call by saying, “Here am I Lord, send me.”
